About:
Starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially if you've never done it before or wonder if it will actually help.** I understand how hard it can be to open up, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. I'm especially passionate about working with people of color who
may not have had access to therapy before or have felt unseen in traditional mental health spaces. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your lived experiences, and help you move toward healing with tools that feel real and effective.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating developmental struggles, trauma, mood disorders, and patterns of maladaptive behavior. My clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients build emotional stability, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. I use a strength-based, person-centered lens to ensure every client feels seen, heard, and empowered in their journey toward healing.

In addition to individual therapy, I deeply value working with couples and families facing relational conflicts and communication challenges. I strive to create a supportive and honest space where clients can explore their needs, strengthen connection, and foster emotional intimacy. My therapeutic style is relatable, grounded, and flexible—balancing warmth with professionalism to help clients engage more openly in meaningful change.

As a Florida native, I've been shaped by the diversity of cultures and perspectives in my community, which informs my deep commitment to inclusivity and cultural responsiveness. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and welcome clients of all backgrounds with openness and respect. Whether working with individuals seeking
clarity and self-awareness, or couples striving to rebuild trust and connection, my goal is to collaborate in a way that honors each client's unique story while supporting their growth and resilience.
